A workshop focusing on contemporary wastewater treatment issues was held as part of the NCASI 2016 West Coast Regional Meeting in Vancouver, Washington. The workshop was simultaneously webcast for those unable to attend in person. It covered a variety of topics, including effluent nutrient minimization, managing wastewater treatment during a cold mill outage, and updates on anaerobic treatment technologies as applied in the pulp and paper industry. This workshop was the third in a series offered by NCASI over the past year on the management of wastewater treatment systems.
