2024 WPC/NCASI Regulatory & Technical Workshop
The Wisconsin Paper Council (WPC) and NCASI hosted a one-day online Regulatory and Technical Workshop on December 4 for WPC and/or NCASI member companies. Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR) and WPC discussed the latest air, water, and residuals regulatory topics affecting midwestern mills. National regulatory perspectives, along with emerging impacts of AI, were presented by AF&PA and the legal team at Michael Best & Friedrich. Technical topics included PFAS, air quality and EPA information requests, as well as tools for assessing risk and management of wastewater residuals.
